Rafeek Basheer Medical Services is seeking qualified and compassionate Staff Nurses to join its healthcare team in Qatar. The successful candidates will provide safe and effective nursing care to patients in a hospital or clinic setting, assist with medical procedures, monitor patient conditions, administer medications as prescribed, and maintain accurate patient records while following professional nursing standards and healthcare protocols.
STAFF NURSE
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse.
- Must have at least 2 years of relevant work experience in a hospital or clinic setting.
- Strong knowledge of basic nursing procedures and patient care practices.
- Ability to assess patient conditions and recognize changes requiring medical attention.
- Knowledge of medication administration, infection control, wound care, and patient safety procedures.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient-oriented, responsible, and professional.
- Ability to work effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment and respond appropriately to patient needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established nursing standards and procedures.
- Assess patients’ conditions and monitor vital signs, symptoms, and changes in health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and according to approved procedures.
- Assist doctors and other healthcare professionals during examinations, treatments, and medical procedures.
- Prepare patients for diagnostic tests, procedures, and treatments.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after medical procedures and report significant changes promptly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records, nursing notes, and documentation.
- Assist in developing and implementing appropriate nursing care plans.
- Provide proper wound care, dressing changes, and other routine nursing interventions as required.
- Ensure proper infection prevention and control practices are followed at all times.
- Maintain patient safety and observe appropriate precautions to prevent falls, injuries, and other healthcare risks.
- Educate patients and their families regarding medications, treatments, health conditions, and appropriate care practices.
- Provide emotional support and maintain respectful, compassionate communication with patients and their families.
- Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
- Properly operate and maintain nursing equipment and medical supplies.
- Observe proper handling, storage, and disposal of medicines, medical equipment, and healthcare materials.
- Respond appropriately to urgent patient needs and emergency situations within the scope of nursing practice.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the nursing station and patient care areas.
- Follow hospital or clinic policies, professional nursing standards, and applicable healthcare regulations.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and protect sensitive medical information.
- Perform other nursing duties and responsibilities assigned by the supervising nurse or management.
