Special Education Teacher
Qualifications:
- 40 years old and below.
- Bachelor’s degree in Bachelor of Science in Special Education (BS Special Education).
- Minimum of 5 years of local teaching experience in Special Education.
- Minimum of 2 years of overseas teaching experience in a Special Education setting.
- Strong knowledge of special education principles, instructional strategies, and classroom management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about supporting learners with special educational needs.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver individualized lessons based on students’ educational needs and abilities.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and learning goals.
- Assess students’ academic, behavioral, and developmental progress and maintain accurate records.
- Adapt teaching methods, instructional materials, and classroom activities to accommodate diverse learning needs.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
- Manage student behavior using positive behavior support strategies.
- Collaborate with parents, therapists, school administrators, and other professionals to support student development.
- Prepare progress reports and communicate student performance to parents and school management.
- Participate in school meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and educational standards.
