Document Controller

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Document Controller in construction, engineering, or oil & gas projects.
• Proficiency in MS Office and document management systems (e.g., Aconex, SharePoint, or similar platforms).
• Strong organizational, filing, and data management skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced project environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the receipt, registration, distribution, and filing of all project documents.
• Maintain an organized document control system for easy retrieval and tracking.
• Ensure all documents are properly numbered, revised, and updated according to procedures.
• Distribute approved documents to relevant departments and project personnel in a timely manner.
• Monitor document revisions and ensure obsolete documents are removed from circulation.
• Maintain logs for incoming and outgoing correspondence, drawings, and submittals.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and QA/QC teams regarding documentation requirements.
• Assist in audits, inspections, and project close-out documentation.
• Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and proper archiving of all project records.
