SHIFT SUPERVISOR

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or a similar supervisory role.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering (Others), or a related field. A Diploma in a relevant discipline may also be considered.
• Strong knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems, HVAC, and Civil building maintenance.
• Proven experience supervising maintenance teams and coordinating daily operational activities.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to coordinate maintenance operations while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Knowledge of workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Capable of working under pressure and managing multiple priorities.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily building maintenance operations during assigned shifts.
• Lead maintenance teams to ensure preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently.
• Monitor the performance of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), HVAC, and Civil maintenance works.
• Assign work schedules, prioritize maintenance requests, and ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Coordinate with engineers, technicians, contractors, and clients to support smooth facility operations.
• Conduct routine inspections of building systems and identify maintenance requirements or operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace safety regulations, and client standards throughout all maintenance activities.
• Prepare daily shift reports, maintenance logs, incident reports, and operational documentation.
• Monitor the availability of manpower, materials, tools, and equipment required for maintenance activities.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to prepare reports, track maintenance activities, and communicate operational updates.
• Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Promote a safe working environment by ensuring all maintenance activities follow approved safety procedures.
• Perform other supervisory and operational duties assigned by management.
