We are seeking experienced Shift Leaders for EATON FZE in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidates will be responsible for supervising production operations, ensuring safety compliance, leading shift teams, and driving continuous improvement in manufacturing performance, quality, and efficiency.

SHIFT LEADER

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in industrial or manufacturing operations
  • Must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Computer Science/IT, Chemical Engineering, Computer/Telecommunication Engineering, Engineering (Others), or related fields
  • Experience in high-speed automated assembly lines (e.g., STIWA, PIA, Festo, Omron, B&R, DA Automation) is an advantage
  • Basic technical understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
  • Experience in metal stamping, bending, welding, and assembly operations
  • Familiarity with automated systems and machine operations
  • Knowledge of MS Office and SAP or other ERP systems
  • Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
  • High motivation, accuracy, and willingness to work in shifts

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and EATON environmental and behavioral standards (e.g., Safety First, SLPA, Near Miss Program)
  • Supervise and coordinate shift operations, including work allocation and employee instruction
  • Lead and support machine troubleshooting, maintenance, and problem-solving activities
  • Train and guide new operators and team members
  • Monitor production performance and ensure achievement of KPIs (Safety, OEE, Quality, etc.)
  • Ensure production quality through operator inspections and process control
  • Participate in Tier meetings, project teams, and continuous improvement (CI) initiatives
  • Support optimization of production processes using lean manufacturing tools
  • Coordinate with supply chain management (SCM) for raw materials and shipping requirements
  • Manage spare parts, maintenance activities, and shift handovers
  • Initiate escalation procedures in case of operational issues
  • Ensure proper waste management and material segregation (copper, steel, etc.)
