SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education, Education, or a related field relevant to the teaching specialization.
• Professional teaching license is preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant teaching experience, preferably at the Senior High School level.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum planning, instructional strategies, and student assessment.
• Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and educational technology platforms.
• Ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor students in achieving academic and personal success.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and collaboration skills.
• Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, adaptability, and commitment to educational excellence.
• Willing to work in Qatar under the employer’s policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Senior High School curriculum and learning competencies.
• Teach assigned specialized subjects using effective instructional strategies and technology-enhanced learning methods.
• Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, classroom activities, and assessments that support student achievement.
• Evaluate students’ academic performance through examinations, projects, assignments, presentations, and other assessment methods.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment that promotes academic growth and personal development.
• Maintain effective classroom management while encouraging active participation and collaboration among students.
• Identify students’ individual learning needs and provide academic support, intervention, and enrichment activities.
• Guide students in developing critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, department heads, guidance counselors, and school administrators to improve educational outcomes.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding students’ academic progress, attendance, and behavior.
• Participate in faculty meetings, curriculum development, professional development programs, school events, and extracurricular activities.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, lesson plans, student performance, and other required documentation.
• Comply with school policies, child protection standards, and professional teaching ethics.
