Job Vacancy: SENIOR CHEF DE PARTIE

Kimaya Fiji is seeking an experienced Senior Chef de Partie to join their culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in professional kitchen operations, leadership experience, and the ability to manage a section efficiently in a high-volume or hotel/resort environment.

SENIOR CHEF DE PARTIE

Qualifications:

• Trade Certificate or Diploma in Cookery, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ professional kitchen experience, including at least 2 years as a Chef de Partie.
• Experience in high-volume kitchens or hotel/resort settings is preferred.
• Strong culinary skills, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Ability to lead and train junior kitchen staff effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the menu and standards.
• Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff within the assigned section.
• Maintain hygiene, safety, and food quality standards in the kitchen.
• Assist the Head Chef or Sous Chef in menu planning, inventory management, and staff training.
• Monitor ingredient usage and ensure minimal wastage.
• Ensure timely and consistent food preparation, especially during peak hours.
