Yamama Cement Factory is seeking a reliable and technically capable Second-Level Equipment Operator – Furnaces and Mills to support cement manufacturing operations in Saudi Arabia. This opportunity is ideal for industrial equipment operators with knowledge of furnace and mill operations, process monitoring, equipment inspection, and safe operating procedures in a cement production environment.

SECOND-LEVEL EQUIPMENT OPERATOR – FURNACES AND MILLS

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an Equipment Operator, Furnace Operator, Mill Operator, Kiln Operator, or similar industrial position is preferred.
• Experience in a cement manufacturing, heavy industrial, mining, or process plant environment is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of furnaces, mills, conveyors, feeders, fans, burners, and other industrial process equipment.
• Ability to monitor equipment operating conditions and identify abnormal performance or process conditions.
• Knowledge of industrial safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Physically fit and capable of working in a hot, dusty, and demanding cement plant environment.
• Responsible, attentive, reliable, and able to follow technical instructions and established operating procedures.
• Willing to work rotating shifts and cooperate with production and maintenance teams.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor furnaces, mills, and associated cement production equipment according to established operating procedures.
• Assist primary operators in monitoring equipment performance and maintaining stable production processes.
• Monitor temperature, pressure, material flow, vibration, and other operating parameters of furnaces and mills.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify abnormal conditions, leaks, blockages, overheating, unusual noise, or vibration.
• Assist with equipment startup, shutdown, adjustment, and operational procedures under the direction of senior operators or supervisors.
• Monitor the operation of feeders, conveyors, fans, burners, pumps, and other auxiliary equipment connected to furnaces and mills.
• Report equipment malfunctions, process abnormalities, and maintenance requirements promptly to the appropriate supervisor.
• Coordinate with control room operators, maintenance personnel, and production teams to ensure smooth and continuous plant operations.
• Assist maintenance personnel during equipment inspections, servicing, shutdowns, repairs, and component replacement activities.
• Maintain accurate operating logs and records covering equipment conditions, process parameters, production activities, and operational incidents.
• Perform routine cleaning, housekeeping, and operator-level maintenance of assigned equipment and work areas.
• Follow established safety procedures for operating and working around high-temperature furnaces, mills, rotating machinery, and other industrial equipment.
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with company safety and environmental policies.
• Respond appropriately to equipment alarms, process disturbances, and emergency situations.
• Assist in maintaining efficient production and minimizing equipment downtime.
• Perform other furnace, mill, equipment operation, and cement production duties assigned by management.
