SANDWICH ARTIST

Qualifications:

• Female.
• 28 years old and below.
• Previous experience in food and beverage (F&B) or fast-food operations is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Customer-service oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Physically fit and capable of standing and working for extended periods.
• Flexible and willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
• Basic English communication skills; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
• Able to follow recipes, food preparation procedures, and company standards accurately.
• Good attention to detail, particularly in order accuracy, portioning, food presentation, and cleanliness.
• Responsible, hardworking, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willing to maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, customer service, and workplace safety.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to Subway recipes, procedures, and brand standards.
• Prepare ingredients and ensure proper portioning, freshness, quality, and presentation of all food items.
• Follow established procedures for bread, meat, vegetables, sauces, toppings, and other sandwich ingredients.
• Assemble and customize sandwiches according to customer orders and preferences.
• Take customer orders accurately and provide friendly, professional service.
• Greet customers and assist them with menu selections, promotions, and available options.
• Handle special dietary requests and customized orders according to customer requirements and company procedures.
• Ensure that completed orders are accurate, properly packaged, and served promptly.
• Maintain the quality and freshness of ingredients throughout the day.
• Monitor ingredient temperatures, storage conditions, and expiration dates as required.
• Operate kitchen equipment, food preparation tools, ovens, and other restaurant equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow proper food preparation, handling, storage, and stock rotation procedures.
• Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in accordance with applicable Saudi regulations and company requirements.
• Clean and sanitize workstations, food preparation surfaces, utensils, equipment, and service areas regularly.
• Keep the kitchen and customer service areas clean, organized, and presentable throughout the shift.
• Dispose of food waste and other waste materials properly while helping minimize unnecessary food wastage.
• Participate in opening and closing procedures, including cleaning, preparation, stocking, and equipment checks.
• Monitor ingredient and supply levels and inform supervisors when replenishment is needed.
• Assist in receiving, checking, organizing, and storing food and other restaurant deliveries.
• Follow proper stock rotation practices to maintain freshness and minimize spoilage.
• Work closely with other Sandwich Artists, cashiers, baristas, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
• Support the team during peak hours while maintaining speed, accuracy, food quality, and customer service.
• Assist with POS operations and customer payments when assigned.
• Follow proper cash-handling procedures when responsible for customer payments or cash transactions.
• Attend training sessions on menu updates, food safety, sanitation, customer service, and company procedures.
• Follow workplace safety rules, company policies, operational procedures, and instructions from supervisors.
• Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude when interacting with customers and coworkers.
• Perform other food preparation, sandwich production, and restaurant duties as assigned by management.
