SAFETY OFFICER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in industrial, offshore, or construction safety
• Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in Safety, Occupational Health, or related fields
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, ISO, and other regulatory safety standards
• Proficient in English (spoken and written)
• Ability to conduct audits, risk assessments, and emergency procedures

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations (OSHA, ISO) and company safety policies
• Implement and enforce Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems, including hot work, confined space entry, and electrical isolations (LOTO)
• Conduct hazard identifications (HAZID), job safety analyses (JSA), and site inspections
• Lead emergency drills and safety training sessions
• Administer and audit ePTW systems to ensure accurate documentation and compliance
• Monitor safety performance, report incidents, and recommend corrective actions
• Collaborate with site teams to maintain a safe work environment
