QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER (Conversational AI)

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Must have experience in software quality assurance or software testing, preferably involving AI-powered chatbots or conversational AI systems.
  • Must have knowledge of test case development, bug reporting, and software testing methodologies.
  • Must possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Must demonstrate keen attention to detail and the ability to identify inconsistencies and software defects.
  • Familiarity with APIs, Python programming, automation testing, or AI evaluation tools is an advantage.
  • Must be capable of documenting test results clearly and communicating technical issues to development teams.
  • Must be willing to collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve software quality and system performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, review, and execute test cases and test plans for conversational AI applications and software systems.
  • Test AI-powered chatbots to assess response accuracy, relevance, consistency, and conversational flow.
  • Evaluate chatbot performance across different user inputs, scenarios, and conversation contexts.
  • Identify, document, and report software defects, unexpected responses, and functional issues.
  • Collaborate with software developers, AI engineers, and product teams to investigate and resolve reported defects.
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing as required.
  • Assess AI system behavior, including its ability to understand user intent and generate appropriate responses.
  • Perform API testing to verify communication between applications and backend services.
  • Assist in developing automated testing scripts and improving testing processes.
  • Use appropriate testing tools and AI evaluation methods to measure system performance and reliability.
  • Maintain accurate test documentation, bug reports, and quality assurance records.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance chatbot functionality, software quality, and user satisfaction.
