Abdulrahman Al Bader Sons Co For Trading and Contracting Co. is seeking an experienced Preventive Maintenance Foreman for an overseas work opportunity in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will supervise preventive maintenance activities, lead maintenance teams, monitor equipment reliability, and ensure maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company and industry standards.
PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE FOREMAN
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Diploma in Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial or oil and gas maintenance.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in a supervisory or foreman role.
- Saudi Aramco experience is preferred.
- Strong understanding of electro-mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for work orders, equipment history, and maintenance reporting.
- Experience with ERP systems used for maintenance work orders and data analysis is an advantage.
- Deep knowledge of plant preventive maintenance, root cause analysis, and facility integrity standards.
- Ability to analyze maintenance performance metrics, including MTBF and MTTR.
- Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance management systems and reporting.
- Familiarity with Saudi safety regulations and international safety standards.
- Experience implementing and enforcing Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Strong leadership and team supervision skills.
- Good communication, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in industrial and oil and gas environments.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily preventive maintenance activities for industrial, oil and gas, and facility equipment.
- Lead maintenance technicians and workers and assign tasks according to maintenance priorities.
- Plan and monitor preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment breakdowns and production interruptions.
- Ensure maintenance work is completed according to approved procedures, schedules, and quality standards.
- Monitor plant equipment and identify potential failures or maintenance requirements.
- Coordinate corrective maintenance and troubleshooting activities when equipment failures occur.
- Use CMMS and/or ERP systems to create and track work orders, maintain equipment history, and generate maintenance reports.
- Monitor maintenance data and identify recurring equipment problems.
- Support root cause analysis (RCA) and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Apply strong knowledge of plant preventive maintenance practices and facility integrity standards.
- Analyze maintenance performance indicators such as Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).
- Monitor maintenance productivity, equipment downtime, work completion, and other key performance indicators.
- Coordinate with engineers, technicians, operations personnel, contractors, and management.
- Ensure tools, spare parts, materials, and equipment required for maintenance activities are available.
- Inspect completed maintenance work to ensure proper quality and compliance with specifications.
- Identify maintenance hazards and ensure appropriate safety controls are implemented.
- Enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and other safe work practices.
- Conduct or participate in routine safety inspections and maintenance audits.
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with Saudi regulations, company policies, and applicable international safety standards.
- Prepare maintenance reports and communicate work progress, equipment issues, and recommendations to management.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
- Perform other maintenance supervisory duties as assigned.
