Kuwait Packing Materials Manufacturing Company KSC (C) is seeking qualified and experienced PP Thermoforming Operators to join its plastic manufacturing team in Kuwait. The successful candidates will set up and operate thermoforming machines to produce high-quality polypropylene (PP) plastic trays, lunch boxes, dishes, containers, cans, and other formed products while maintaining required safety, quality, production, and efficiency standards.

Qualifications:
- Male, maximum 45 years old.
- Diploma, ITI, or equivalent technical qualification.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience operating plastic thermoforming machines.
- Proven experience in setting up and operating thermoforming equipment.
- Experience working with PP (polypropylene) thermoforming is preferred.
- Experience with PP, PS, HIPS, PET, or similar plastic materials is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of thermoforming processes, including sheet feeding, heating, forming, trimming, cutting, and stacking.
- Experience in machine setup, mold changes, parameter adjustment, and process optimization.
- Knowledge of plastic material handling and finished-product quality requirements.
- Ability to monitor product dimensions, weight, thickness, appearance, and other specifications.
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot common thermoforming machine and product defects.
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.
- Ability to make appropriate machine and process adjustments to maintain product quality.
- Ability to read and follow production instructions, work procedures, and quality standards.
- Basic English communication skills.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Physically fit and capable of working in a fast-paced plastic manufacturing and production environment.
- Willing to work shifts and follow production schedules as required.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate plastic thermoforming machines for the production of PP trays, lunch boxes, containers, dishes, and other formed plastic products.
- Load and feed plastic sheets or rolls into thermoforming machines according to production requirements.
- Set and adjust machine parameters, including heating temperature, forming pressure or vacuum, cycle time, and cutting conditions.
- Adjust heating zones and forming settings to achieve proper material heating and consistent product formation.
- Perform mold changes, mold installation, alignment, and related machine adjustments as required.
- Monitor the thermoforming process to ensure continuous and efficient production.
- Check product dimensions, weight, thickness, appearance, and overall specifications during production.
- Ensure proper forming, trimming, cutting, stacking, and handling of finished products.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet established quality standards.
- Identify and correct common thermoforming defects such as deformation, uneven forming, thickness variation, cracks, webbing, and improper cutting.
- Make appropriate machine and process adjustments to correct product defects and maintain consistent quality.
- Monitor material consumption, production output, cycle times, and overall machine performance.
- Minimize material waste by maintaining proper machine settings and efficient production practices.
- Conduct production trials and make necessary parameter adjustments for new or modified products.
- Perform routine cleaning of thermoforming machines, molds, tools, and surrounding work areas.
- Carry out basic troubleshooting of machine and forming problems to minimize downtime.
- Perform basic preventive maintenance and report mechanical or technical problems requiring specialized repair.
- Monitor machine components, heating systems, forming systems, trimming equipment, and stacking systems for abnormal operation.
- Record production data, machine settings, material usage, quality results, and production issues accurately.
- Report production, quality, material, and machine-related problems to the supervisor promptly.
- Maintain proper documentation and follow up on production trials, machine issues, corrective actions, and other assigned activities.
- Follow approved work instructions, production plans, quality standards, and machine operating procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and proper handling requirements for plastic materials and production equipment.
- Coordinate with maintenance, quality control, production supervisors, and other operators to resolve operational issues.
- Meet production targets while maintaining product quality, safety, and efficient machine operation.
