Global Skilled Employment Services is seeking skilled Poultry Butchers to join meat processing and food production operations in Australia. The role focuses on precision cutting and preparation of poultry products, ensuring quality, consistency, and adherence to food safety standards.

POULTRY BUTCHER

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of recent and relevant experience as a poultry butcher
  • Experience in Middle East operations is an advantage
  • Skilled in poultry cutting techniques including trimming, filleting, and deboning
  • Experience handling already processed birds (non-slaughter role)
  • Good English communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Valid driver’s license with ability to drive 4-wheeled vehicles
  • Completed at least 2 years of a Bachelor’s or Diploma course (for English test exemption)
  • Strong attention to detail and product quality
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Physically fit and capable of repetitive manual work
  • Team-oriented with a strong work ethic

Responsibilities:

  • Perform poultry butchery tasks including cutting, trimming, filleting, and deboning
    Handle and process already prepared birds (no slaughtering involved)
    Ensure high standards of product quality and presentation
    Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations
    Maintain cleanliness of workstations and tools
    Work efficiently to meet production targets
    Coordinate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow
