PASSER SIDC GROUP is looking for experienced Pipe Fitters specialized in shipbuilding to join our team in Lithuania. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in ship system installations, fittings, and inspections, with strong technical knowledge and the ability to read complex drawings.

Pipe Fitter (Shipbuilding)

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Technical School or Vocational Education in a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in shipbuilding
  • Experience in inspection tests for leaks in piping systems
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and isometric diagrams
  • Knowledge of installation, assembly, and fittings for ship systems
  • Skilled in tack welding using processes 111, 135, and 136
  • Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and reliable

Responsibilities:

  • Install, assemble, and fit piping systems for shipbuilding projects
  • Conduct inspection tests to detect and prevent leaks
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and isometric diagrams
  • Perform tack welding using welding processes 111, 135, and 136
  • Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and industry standards
  • Collaborate with shipbuilding teams to meet project timelines and specifications
  • Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition

Requirements:
