Pattern Maker / Cutter

Qualifications:

• With at least 5 years of related working experience in garment pattern making.
• Should have formal education in Fashion Design,
• Vocational in Pattern Making or any garment-related course (e.g., diploma or degree in fashion design or pattern technology).
• Should have TESDA NCII or Trade Test Certificates in Tailoring.
• Should have a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in creating patterns for various garment types (e.g. womenswear, menswear, sportswear, etc.).
• Those with experience working with luxury, high-street, or bespoke fashion brands are preferred.
• Should be proficient in manual pattern drafting and cutting techniques.
• Should have a keen understanding of garment construction, fabric properties, and grading.
• Should possess expertise in creating detailed tech packs and ensuring patterns align with production specifications.
• Should be knowledgeable in garment fitting, alteration, and adjustments for various body types.
• Should be competent in marking samples and finished patterns with information such as garment sizes, selection, style, identification, and sewing instructions.
• Should be competent in pattern creation for different garment styles and sizes, often using drafting techniques or design software.
• Must be competent in the selection of materials for pattern creation and garment production.
• Should be keen on troubleshooting, identifying, and resolving design issues or pattern inaccuracies.
• Should have a strong understanding of fashion design, apparel construction, and fabric properties.
• Should be knowledgeable in the use of design software, draping, and creating 3D prototypes.
• Should have basic math skills for measurements & calculations.
• Must have the ability to maintain professional standards under pressure.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Should have a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Good English communication.
• Newly renewed passport

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary starts at Php 90,000.00 gross monthly, more or less.
• Forty-eight (48) Work Hours per week. Six (6) working days in a 7-day schedule.
• Accommodation will be provided.
• Two (2) years contract, renewable.
