FIJI GAS is seeking a highly experienced and strategic National Asset Integrity & Safety Manager to lead company-wide asset integrity, safety systems, and compliance programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing asset management strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving a strong safety culture across all operations.
NATIONAL ASSET INTERGRITY & SAFETY MANAGER
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years relevant working experience in asset management or safety.
- At least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Asset Management, Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), or related field.
- Proven experience in implementing asset integrity and safety management systems.
- Strong leadership ability in driving safety culture and operational excellence.
- Experience in risk management, compliance, and emergency response systems.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the National Asset Management Plan to ensure long-term operational reliability and safety.
- Implement Asset Integrity Management Systems (AIMS) to prevent structural failures, particularly for LPG vessels and related infrastructure.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal safety standards across all operations.
- Lead safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations, ensuring timely corrective actions.
- Oversee emergency response planning and safety systems at a national level.
- Design, deliver, and monitor technical safety training and competency development programs.
- Promote and strengthen a proactive safety culture and operational excellence across all departments.
- Provide leadership and guidance to teams involved in asset integrity and safety management.
