MODULAR CABINET MAKER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in modular cabinet making or a related field.
• Experience in kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, vanities, entertainment units, and custom cabinetry.
• Familiarity with CNC woodworking equipment and modern cabinet manufacturing systems is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Australian construction and cabinetry standards is beneficial.
• At least 1 year of college education or completion of a 1-year vocational course.
• Proven experience in modular cabinet fabrication and installation.
• Skilled in operating woodworking tools, machinery, and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, and specifications.
• Knowledgeable in cabinet assembly, laminates, edging, and hardware installation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Physically fit and capable of performing workshop and installation duties.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, assemble, and install modular cabinets for residential and commercial projects.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, and production specifications.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble cabinet components accurately.
• Install laminates, edging materials, hinges, drawer systems, handles, and other hardware.
• Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure finished products meet required standards.
• Perform on-site cabinet installation and adjustment work as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, designers, and installation teams.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule while maintaining quality workmanship.
