Working International Resourcing Limited is seeking experienced Meat Labourers (Slaughterers) to join meat processing operations in Australia. The role involves handling livestock processing tasks in a safe, hygienic, and efficient manner while adhering to strict industry and workplace standards.

Meat Labourer (Slaughterer)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years verifiable experience as a labourer, preferably in meat processing
• Strong knife handling and cutting skills
• Knowledge of maintaining sharp knives and proper PPE hygiene practices
• Physically fit with ability to perform heavy lifting and repetitive tasks
• Understanding of proper lifting techniques and workplace safety procedures
• Willingness to take IELTS with a minimum 4.5 band score in each category
• Strong discipline in following safety, hygiene, and operational standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment

Responsibilities:

• Perform slaughtering and meat processing tasks in accordance with workplace procedures and safety standards
• Use and maintain sharp knives and other meat processing tools properly
• Ensure compliance with hygiene standards and proper use of PPE at all times
• Handle carcasses and meat products following proper lifting and handling techniques
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment
• Follow all workplace health, safety, and food processing regulations
• Work efficiently as part of a production team to meet daily targets
