MATERIAL CONTROLLER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in material control, warehouse management, logistics, or construction project material handling.
• Experience working in LNG plants, Oil & Gas plants, power plants, gas processing plants, petrochemical plants, or other industrial plant projects.
• Strong knowledge of material receiving, storage, issuance, and inventory control procedures.
• Experience handling construction materials, mechanical/electrical equipment, and project consumables.
• Ability to use inventory management systems and basic computer applications (MS Office, Excel, etc.).
• Knowledge of material traceability, documentation, and warehouse procedures.
• Familiarity with construction project workflows and material requisition systems.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial site environment.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and preservation of materials in accordance with project requirements.
• Issue materials to site teams based on approved requisitions and track material movement.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update material tracking systems.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment of materials as required.
• Ensure material traceability and compliance with project quality standards.
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and construction teams regarding material availability.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and stock checks.
• Prepare material reports, logs, and documentation for project management.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of sensitive or high-value equipment.
• Support project logistics and material planning activities.
