Massage Therapist (Health Club Attendant)

Qualifications:

• Must have at least two (2) years of relevant work experience as a Massage Therapist or in a similar position.
• Must be at least a High School Graduate.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Must have knowledge and practical skills in various massage techniques, including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Thai, Aromatherapy, and other therapeutic massage treatments.
• Must be knowledgeable in proper hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Must be physically fit and capable of performing massage treatments for extended periods.
• Must have good communication and customer service skills.
• Must be able to assess clients’ needs and recommend appropriate massage treatments based on their preferences and physical conditions.
• Must be professional, attentive to clients’ comfort and privacy, and able to maintain a clean and organized treatment environment.

Responsibilities: 

• Perform various massage treatments, including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Thai, Aromatherapy, and other therapeutic massage techniques, according to clients’ needs and preferences.
• Assess clients’ physical conditions, preferences, and specific requirements before providing massage services.
• Recommend suitable massage services and treatment plans based on clients’ individual needs.
• Explain massage procedures, benefits, and necessary precautions before starting each treatment.
• Monitor clients’ reactions during treatments and adjust massage techniques and pressure as appropriate.
• Ensure clients’ comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the massage session.
• Prepare massage oils, lotions, towels, equipment, and other necessary treatment supplies.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic, comfortable, and well-organized treatment room.
• Clean and sanitize massage equipment, tools, and treatment areas in accordance with established hygiene standards.
• Follow spa protocols, health regulations, and workplace safety procedures.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients.
• Maintain accurate client records, treatment notes, and service reports when required.
• Perform other related duties assigned by the supervisor or health club management.

• Valid NBI clearance (not less than 6 months before expiry)
