NSE Solutions S.R.O. is seeking skilled and experienced Machine Setters to join its production team in the Czech Republic. The successful candidates will be responsible for setting up, operating, adjusting, and maintaining production machinery to ensure efficient manufacturing operations while meeting quality, safety, and production standards.
The ideal candidate has experience in a manufacturing environment, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to maintaining high production quality and workplace safety.
MACHINE SETTER
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of working experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Must possess a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate in Others or a related field.
- Previous experience as a Machine Setter, Machine Operator, or in a similar production role.
- Knowledge of machine setup, operation, adjustment, and basic maintenance.
- Ability to perform measurements and quality inspections using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Familiarity with production documentation and reporting requirements.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices and quality management systems.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, inspect, and adjust production machines according to work instructions and production plans.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficient and continuous operation.
- Perform routine maintenance and carry out minor repairs within the scope of responsibility.
- Conduct prescribed measurements and quality inspections to ensure products meet required specifications.
- Identify machine faults and report major issues to the maintenance or engineering team.
- Maintain accurate production records, workplace reports, checklists, plans, and operational documentation.
- Ensure compliance with production procedures, company directives, and manufacturing standards.
- Follow workplace health and safety regulations and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Adhere to quality and food safety management systems, including HACCP, BRCGS Issue 6, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and applicable Chemicals Act requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to support safe and efficient production.
