JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education, Education, or a related field relevant to the teaching specialization.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant teaching experience, preferably at the junior high school level.
• Professional teaching license is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum planning, instructional methods, and student assessment.
• Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to motivate, inspire, and support students from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and educational technology.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work in Qatar under the employer’s policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and educational standards.
• Teach assigned junior high school subjects using effective instructional strategies and classroom technologies.
• Develop lesson plans, learning materials, assessments, and classroom activities that promote student engagement and achievement.
• Assess, evaluate, and monitor student performance through examinations, quizzes, projects, assignments, and other assessment tools.
• Create and maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages respect and active participation.
• Manage classroom behavior and implement appropriate disciplinary procedures in accordance with school policies.
• Identify students’ learning needs and provide appropriate academic support and interventions.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding students’ academic progress, attendance, and behavior.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, department heads, counselors, and school administrators to enhance student learning outcomes.
• Participate in school meetings, faculty development programs, extracurricular activities, and school events.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, lesson plans, and student progress.
• Comply with school policies, child safeguarding regulations, and professional teaching standards.
