Changwon Corporation Sp. z o.o. is seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to support instrumentation works for electrical construction projects in Poland. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of instrumentation systems while ensuring compliance with project requirements, safety regulations, and quality standards.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience in industrial instrumentation works, strong technical skills, and a background in Electrical Construction projects.
INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN
Qualifications:
- Must have a VALID TRC.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the same position as an Instrument Technician.
- Proven experience in Electrical Construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation installation, calibration, testing, and maintenance.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, instrument diagrams, and technical documents.
- Experience with industrial control systems and instrumentation equipment.
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Install, test, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation equipment and control systems.
- Perform troubleshooting and repair of instrument systems, devices, and related components.
- Read and interpret instrument drawings, electrical schematics, loop diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Conduct testing and commissioning activities to ensure proper operation of instrumentation systems.
- Perform cable termination, instrument wiring, and connection works as required.
- Inspect installed instruments and verify compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Identify faults and carry out corrective actions to maintain system reliability.
- Use testing equipment and tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing, maintenance activities, and completed work.
- Follow workplace safety regulations and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other technical personnel to complete assigned tasks.
