HOUSEKEEPER
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience as a Housekeeper, Room Attendant, or in a similar role.
- Bachelor’s/College Degree in Hospitality/Tourism Management or a related field.
- Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning equipment, and cleaning chemicals.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Physically fit and able to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and lift housekeeping supplies when necessary.
- Able to work efficiently under time constraints and meet strict housekeeping schedules.
- Good communication skills and a positive work attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, hotel public areas, or private residences according to established standards.
- Dust furniture, vacuum carpets and floors, mop surfaces, and sanitize bathrooms thoroughly.
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish room amenities and supplies.
- Keep hotel lobbies, hallways, elevators, and staff break rooms clean and organized.
- Wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, towels, uniforms, and clothing as required.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks and ensure all assigned areas meet cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times.
- Complete room cleaning assignments within required turnaround times while maintaining quality standards.
