HOUSEKEEPER / Housekeeping Personnel

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields:
  • Hotel and Restaurant Management
  • Hospitality Management
  • Other related fields
• At least 2 years of related working experience.
• Relevant experience in housekeeping, hotel operations, hospitality, or related services.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning, sanitation, and housekeeping procedures.
• Ability to use common cleaning tools, equipment, and supplies safely.
• Good organizational skills and attention to cleanliness and detail.
• Physically capable of performing housekeeping duties, including standing, walking, bending, and handling cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Responsible, hardworking, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willing to learn the German language online up to A2 level.
• Willing to undergo approximately 5–6 months of online German language training.
• Willing to adapt to German workplace standards, procedures, and working environment.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain assigned rooms, common areas, facilities, and other designated spaces.
• Perform routine housekeeping tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing.
• Clean and maintain bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchens, corridors, and other assigned areas.
• Change and arrange bed linens, towels, and other housekeeping supplies as required.
• Ensure rooms and facilities are properly organized, clean, and presentable.
• Collect, sort, and properly dispose of waste according to established procedures.
• Replenish toiletries, cleaning supplies, linens, and other necessary housekeeping items.
• Use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and housekeeping tools safely and correctly.
• Inspect assigned areas and report damages, maintenance issues, or missing items to the appropriate supervisor.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and complete assigned housekeeping tasks on time.
• Maintain proper hygiene and sanitation standards in all assigned areas.
• Handle furniture, fixtures, equipment, and household items carefully to prevent damage.
• Assist with laundry, linen handling, and other housekeeping-related duties when required.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of guests, residents, clients, or other individuals in assigned areas.
• Work cooperatively with supervisors and other housekeeping or facility personnel.
• Perform other housekeeping duties assigned by management.
