UAB BPG RECRUITMENT is seeking qualified and experienced High-Rise Building Electricians to install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems in high-rise buildings. Applicants should have recent experience in electrical works, particularly in power distribution, electrical panels, life-safety systems, conduit routing, and building automation.

HIGH RISE BUILDING ELECTRICIAN

Qualifications:

  • Gender: Male only.
  • Age: 40 years old and below.
  • Work Experience: At least three (3) years of recent experience in electrical works.
  • Certificate of Employment (COE): Must provide documentation verifying relevant work experience.
  • Education: At least a High School Graduate; must provide an educational diploma or certificate.
  • Passport: Must possess a valid passport.
  • Knowledge of electrical power distribution, panel installation, life-safety wiring, conduit routing, and building automation systems.
  • Ability to follow technical instructions, electrical drawings, and workplace safety procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems in high-rise buildings in accordance with approved plans and safety standards.
  • Work on power distribution systems, including high-voltage risers, electrical feeders, and switchgear.
  • Install and connect transformers, distribution boards, circuit breakers, and electrical panels.
  • Install and maintain life-safety electrical systems, including fire alarm wiring, emergency lighting, and generator connections.
  • Route and secure electrical conduits, vertical risers, cable trays, and raceways throughout building structures.
  • Install, inspect, and troubleshoot wiring, electrical connections, and related components.
  • Assist with building automation systems, including HVAC controls, smart lighting, and electrical metering systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
  • Test electrical installations and identify faults using appropriate tools and testing equipment.
  • Follow electrical codes, occupational safety procedures, and site-specific safety requirements.
  • Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other construction workers to complete electrical work according to project schedules.
  • Report electrical defects, equipment problems, and safety hazards to the appropriate supervisor.
