Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Qualifications

• Male applicants
• Minimum of 3 years work experience
• Diploma/Certificate in Heavy Equipment Mechanic/Automotive Technology or equivalent
• Excellent knowledge of how heavy duty machineries, engines, parts and systems work
• Specialized in cargo trucks, heavy duty forklifts, crane, spreader, side lifters, reach stackers, and other container handling equipment w/ the ability to overhaul, calibrate, repair and troubleshoot hydraulic and electronic systems.
• Knowledge in a diverse series of machines/engines in Hyster. TCM, Omega, Volvo, Hangcha, Haulmark,
• Steelbro, JCB, Linkbelt, Kalmar, Howo-Sino, Hino, Hova, Nissan, Kubota, Isuzu, Cummins and Caterpillar
• Able to identify parts and interpret the schematic on equipment manuals

Responsibilities

• Performs either rough or fine grade finishing, precisely spreading and mixing materials in order to dry and prep roads, construct road surface to precise grade specifications, lay cold mix, and / or shave and rip out old road surfaces, direct ground
• Providing suggestions to refine workflow and boost efficiency.
• Aiding coworkers to ensure that the site is clean and organized at the end of each shift.
