We are looking for Heavy Equipment Mechanic with experience in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components of heavy machinery; performing preventive maintenance and inspections; interpreting technical manuals and schematics; and using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment, all while following safety-compliant work practices.

Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or similar role
• Experience working on trucks, excavators, diggers, and earthmoving equipment
• Strong knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems and schematics
• Must have experience working on Cummins engines
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on heavy equipment and trucks
• Perform routine maintenance and preventive servicing
• Troubleshoot breakdowns in both field and workshop environments
• Inspect equipment and ensure safe and efficient operation
• Use specialized tools and diagnostic equipment effectively
• Interpret technical manuals and schematics for accurate repairs
• Maintain accurate service and repair records
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations
