We are seeking a reliable and experienced Heavy Delivery Driver to transport goods safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating commercial trucks, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining vehicle safety and condition.
HEAVY DELIVERY DRIVER
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant driving experience.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License (Category C and E).
- No minimum educational attainment required.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Strong sense of responsibility and safety awareness.
- Physically fit and capable of handling loading and unloading tasks.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Willing to travel long distances as required.
Responsibilities:
- Operate commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues or defects.
- Ensure cargo is properly loaded, secured, and balanced to prevent damage during transit.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods and verify deliveries against shipping documents.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance such as refueling, cleaning, and routine checks.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members.
- Follow all road safety regulations and company policies at all times.
