Grapecare LTD. is seeking experienced Heating & Plumbing Fitters / Installers to join its construction and installation team in the Czech Republic. The successful candidates will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing, heating, and water distribution systems in residential and commercial buildings. The role also involves assembling prefabricated building components and ensuring all installations comply with engineering specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
HEATING & PLUMBING FITTER / INSTALLER
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience as a Heating & Plumbing Fitter / Installer.
- Proven experience installing and maintaining plumbing, heating, and water distribution systems.
- Skilled in installing radiators, boilers, pumps, valves, and related mechanical equipment.
- Able to read and interpret construction drawings, plumbing layouts, and technical documentation.
- Knowledgeable in pressure testing, leak testing, and system commissioning procedures.
- Physically fit with a strong build and capable of lifting materials weighing up to 25 kg.
- Comfortable working at heights of up to 10 meters.
- Experience with prefabricated building construction and plasterboard installation is an advantage.
- Category B (passenger car) driver’s license is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble prefabricated timber-based building components, including walls, partitions, ceilings, and roof structures, according to construction drawings and layouts.
- Install, maintain, and repair water supply, drainage, heating, and distribution pipework systems.
- Assemble, install, adjust, and service radiators, convectors, boilers, pumps, valves, expansion vessels, and other heating system components.
- Install water distribution networks, pipe branches, fittings, and plumbing fixtures in accordance with project specifications.
- Mount measuring, control, and regulation equipment for heating and plumbing systems.
- Perform pressure testing, leak detection, and system commissioning in accordance with applicable standards.
- Install plasterboard cladding with thermal and acoustic insulation and complete finishing work using trims and silicone sealants.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, plumbing schematics, and technical specifications.
- Diagnose plumbing and heating system faults and carry out repairs or component replacements.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, building codes, and company quality standards.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
- Perform other plumbing, heating, and installation duties assigned by supervisors.
