HEAD INSTRUCTOR

General Statement of the Function:

• This position is responsible to lead, manage, supervise & support the Training Manager ensuring that the assigned section functions efficiently in conducting of the automotive technical training program and policies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Your duties and responsibilities will include (but not limited to) supporting the training manager in:

• Academic Functions
  • Provide assistance or take charge as instructor when necessary.
  • Prepare to revise curriculum and training aid of the assigned year level.
  • Update, improve course syllabi every start of the semester or year level.
• Administrative Functions
  • Exercise day-to-day supervision over the operations of the Institute particularly on instruction, discipline and other related activities of the department.
  • Administer an efficient system of training, appraising and evaluations.
  • Determine, develop and train assigned level instructors as required.
  • Supervise in maintaining a clean and safe training building premises.
  • Takes a proactive role in advising and counseling of students and instructors.
  • Monitor the input of student’s academic records in to the SAS system on daily

SJAHI provides job-oriented technical training for young Saudi high school graduates having a zest for the Automobile Technology and maintenance field with a distinct perspective in Japanese automobiles.

Saudi Japanese Automobile High Institute (SJAHI) is the first nonprofit institute in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Japanese Automobile Distributors in the Kingdom (JADIK) shared SJAHI’s construction cost with Japan Automobile Manufacture’s Association Inc., (JAMA) and both the Saudi Arabian and Japanese Governments supported the institute by providing land, tools, equipment and experts. The training cost at SJAHI is being borne by the Japanese Automobile Distributors in the Kingdom (JADIK) and Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF). Benefiting from the experience of SJAHI, more nonprofit institutes have been established.
