Head Chef

Qualifications:

• High school graduate
• Minimum 10 years of professional kitchen experience, including at least 3 years as Head Chef or Sous Chef in an upscale restaurant.
• Strong expertise in Asian cuisine (wok techniques, sushi, fusion dishes).
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• High level of creativity and passion for culinary innovation.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain consistency during high-volume service.

Responsibilities:

• Leads the kitchen operations of our upscale Asian-inspired resto bar.
• The Head Chef will be responsible for menu creation, menu execution, menu costing, upgrading the menu kitchen management
• Ensuring the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation.
• Oversee daily kitchen operations, receiving from supplier, quality check, food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
• Supervise, train, and motivate the kitchen team to deliver excellence.
• Ensure consistency and authenticity across Asian-inspired dishes (Thai, Korean, Indian, Chinese) and sushi offering.
• Collaborate on menu design, seasonal updates, and signature creations.
• Manage food costs, inventory, and waste control.
• Maintain strict hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards in compliance with local regulations.
• Work closely with management to align kitchen operations with the restaurant’s upscale brand identity.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
• Employment certificates
• NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
• PEOS certificate
