Gypsum Carpenter

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in gypsum carpentry or interior fit-out work
• Skilled in cutting, installing, and finishing gypsum boards and decorative elements
• Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and drywall installation techniques
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishes
• Team player with good communication and problem-solving skills
• Physically fit to perform manual labor and work at heights when required

Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and install gypsum boards, partitions, and ceilings according to project specifications
• Perform finishing tasks including sanding, jointing, and applying textures or decorative designs
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project instructions accurately
• Maintain proper use and care of tools, equipment, and materials
• Ensure high-quality workmanship with attention to detail and smooth finishes
• Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects efficiently
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized workspace
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation challenges or material issues
