24 HelfendeHände Personalagentur GMBH is seeking experienced and technically skilled GMAW Welders (Locksmith/Fitter) for deployment to Austria. The successful candidate will perform metal fabrication, fitting, alignment, and high-quality welding on alloy steel and structural components within industrial production environments.

GMAW WELDER (Locksmith/Fitter)

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• A minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience is required.
• Must possess a TESDA GMAW NC III certification or equivalent technical qualification.
• Good to very good English communication skills.
• Extensive experience in alloy steel welding using both GMAW (MIG/MAG) and GTAW (TIG) processes.
• Strong ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols accurately.
• Proficient in performing technical industry calculations for metal fabrication, joint fit-ups, and structural alignment.
• Skilled in inspecting welds for surface defects, porosity, and structural integrity to maintain strict quality standards.
• Knowledgeable in handling hot materials, thermal cutting equipment, and locksmith/fitter fabrication tools safely.
• Physically fit, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently or within a technical team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality GMAW and GTAW welding, fitting, and fabrication work on alloy steel structures and metal components.
• Execute locksmith and fitting duties, including measuring, cutting, grinding, assembling, and aligning metal parts according to specifications.
• Diagnose and repair weld defects, structural misalignments, and fabrication errors safely and efficiently.
• Inspect finished welds, joints, and fabricated assemblies to ensure strict compliance with European welding and engineering standards.
• Read, interpret, and execute work based on engineering drawings, technical blueprints, and job orders accurately.
• Support workshop production by operating industrial welding machinery, cutting torches, angle grinders, and metal-shaping tools.
• Conduct pre-welding preparation, edge beveling, joint cleaning, and post-weld slag removal or surface treatment.
• Ensure strict compliance with workplace health and safety regulations, safety procedures, and the proper handling of hot materials.
• Coordinate with workshop supervisors, quality inspectors, and assembly teams regarding project progress and material requirements.
• Prepare welding logs, inspection records, and technical fabrication documentation accurately.
