Tayseer Power Co. is seeking an experienced Generator Body & Sheet-Metal Technician to fabricate, repair, and install sheet-metal components for diesel generator enclosures and related systems. The successful candidate should have at least five years of experience working with diesel generators, strong sheet-metal fabrication skills, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

GENERATOR BODY & SHEET-METAL TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Proven experience working with diesel generators, including brands such as Cummins, Perkins, Kubota, John Deere, or similar.
• Vocational diploma or short-course certificate in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
• Valid trade-test or skill-verification certificate for the occupation, accredited by a Philippine government authority, such as TESDA NC II or higher, and/or Saudi Skills Verification Program (SVP), as specified by the employer.
• Ability to measure, cut, bend, form, fabricate, and assemble sheet-metal components.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, mechanical schematics, and technical specifications.
• Relevant experience in generator enclosure fabrication, soundproofing canopies, ventilation components, and exhaust-related sheet-metal work.
• Experience certificates documenting relevant employment.
• Educational and professional or vocational certificates.
• Certificates of specialized generator training courses, as required by the employer.

Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, bend, and form sheet metal to fabricate or repair generator weatherproofing enclosures, soundproofing canopies, and sub-base fuel tank skirts.
• Read and interpret 2D engineering drawings, mechanical schematics, and structural specifications to produce accurate three-dimensional metal assemblies.
• Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet-metal components for diesel generator sets.
• Manufacture and install custom ductwork, louvers, dampers, and exhaust jackets to support proper engine ventilation and radiator airflow.
• Repair damaged generator enclosures and sheet-metal structures while maintaining required fit, alignment, and finish.
• Use appropriate fabrication tools, cutting equipment, bending machines, and measuring instruments.
• Inspect fabricated components for dimensions, quality, and compliance with technical specifications.
• Coordinate with generator technicians and other maintenance personnel during installation and repair work.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain an orderly fabrication area.
• Maintain and present relevant technical documentation and certificates when required.
