General Carpenter (Labourer)

Qualifications:

• Male applicants preferred
• At least high school graduate
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
• Experience in carpentry, construction, or building maintenance works
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and building layouts
• Skilled in using hand tools and power tools for carpentry work
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual construction activities
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and construction practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team

Responsibilities:

• Erect frameworks for walls, floors, ceilings, roofs, and other structural components
• Measure, mark, shape, and cut wood, plastic, drywall, and related materials accurately
• Install doors, window frames, cabinetry, fixtures, trims, and other carpentry components
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, specifications, and building codes
• Assist in construction activities including site preparation and material handling
• Dig trenches, backfill holes, and support foundation and concrete works
• Mix, pour, and assist with concrete placement when required
• Repair and maintain wooden structures and fixtures
• Operate carpentry tools and equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensure all work meets project specifications and safety standards
