24 HelfendeHände Personalagentur GMBH is seeking experienced and technically skilled Gas Metal Arc Welders for deployment to Austria. The successful candidate will execute high-precision welding, metal joining, and structural assembly on alloy steel components in strict accordance with European industrial standards.

GAS METAL ARC WELDER

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
  A minimum of 2 to 3 years of working experience in a related field is required.
  Must hold a TESDA GMAW NC III Certificate or an equivalent technical qualification.
  Good to very good English communication skills.
  Must be physically and mentally fit to perform demanding industrial fabrication tasks.
  Extensive experience in welding alloy steel using both GMAW (MIG/MAG) and GTAW (TIG) processes.
  Proven ability to perform welding in accordance with European codes and standards, including DIN EN ISO 9606-1, DIN EN ISO 14731, EN 15085-1 to 5, EN ISO 5817, EN ISO 3834-1 to 5, DIN EN ISO 13920, and DIN 2303.
  Strong ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding procedure specifications (WPS).
  Proficient in performing industry-standard mathematical and technical calculations for joint preparation and assembly.
  Skilled in identifying welding defects, inspecting welded parts for accuracy, and ensuring full compliance with specifications and tolerance levels.
  Safety-conscious with direct experience in safely handling hot materials, thermal tools, and heavy fabrication equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality GMAW and GTAW welding on alloy steel structures, pressure components, and metal assemblies.
• Inspect welded parts and joints to ensure they strictly meet specified design tolerances and European quality standards.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair surface or structural welding defects safely and efficiently.
• Inspect and verify joint fit-ups, material alignments, and surface preparations prior to initiating welding processes.
• Read, interpret, and execute work based on technical engineering drawings, welding symbols, and WPS guidelines accurately.
• Support workshop production by operating GMAW/GTAW machinery, cutting torches, grinding equipment, and fitting tools.
• Conduct post-weld inspections, stress relief checks, slag removal, and surface finishing on completed workpieces.
• Ensure strict compliance with international welding codes, operational procedures, safety regulations, and proper hot-material handling protocols.
• Coordinate with quality assurance inspectors, workshop supervisors, and fabrication teams regarding technical specifications.
• Prepare inspection logs, weld tracking records, and technical quality documentation accurately.
