ELECTRICAL NETWORKS MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience is required.
• Candidates must be a Bachelor’s / College Degree holder in Science & Technology or similar fields.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and low-voltage systems.
• Experience with CCTV, access control, fire alarm, PA systems, structured cabling, parking systems, and gate barriers.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
• Ability to diagnose and rectify electrical, electronic, communication, and equipment faults efficiently.
• Familiarity with CAFM systems and computerized work-order management is an advantage.
• Ability to respond effectively to breakdowns and emergency maintenance situations.
• Good knowledge of electrical safety, equipment handling, and workplace safety procedures.
• Ability to use electrical testing instruments, hand tools, and maintenance equipment safely.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to reliable system operation.
• Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary facility management team.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair CCTV systems, including cameras, monitors, recording equipment, and related components.
• Install and maintain access control systems, including card readers, controllers, locks, sensors, and related devices.
• Install, inspect, test, and maintain fire alarm systems and associated equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot public address (PA) systems, speakers, amplifiers, controllers, and related components.
• Install, test, and maintain structured cabling systems and network connections.
• Maintain parking management systems, equipment, sensors, barriers, and associated control devices.
• Install, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot gate barriers and their electrical and control components.
• Perform routine inspections of electrical and low-voltage systems to identify defects, wear, or potential failures.
• Carry out preventive maintenance according to approved schedules and maintenance procedures.
• Diagnose electrical, electronic, communication, and network-related faults using appropriate testing tools and equipment.
• Rectify identified faults efficiently and restore equipment to proper operating condition.
• Respond promptly to system breakdowns, equipment failures, and emergency maintenance requests.
• Test repaired or maintained systems to verify proper operation and reliability.
• Execute assigned maintenance and service work orders through the CAFM (Computer-Aided Facility Management) system.
• Update work-order status, maintenance activities, fault findings, completed repairs, and required follow-up actions in the CAFM system.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, repairs, and equipment condition.
• Coordinate with supervisors, facility management personnel, contractors, and other technical teams when resolving system faults.
• Ensure maintenance activities are performed safely and in accordance with company procedures and applicable workplace requirements.
• Use hand tools, electrical testing instruments, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance tools safely and correctly.
• Maintain tools, equipment, spare parts, and work areas in clean and organized condition.
• Identify recurring system problems and report major faults or replacement requirements to supervisors.
• Assist in the installation, testing, commissioning, modification, and upgrading of electrical and low-voltage systems when required.
• Perform other electrical networks, ELV, facility maintenance, and technical duties assigned by management.
