EARTH MOVING ASPHALT OPERATOR
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years working experience in earthmoving, asphalt works, or civil construction projects
- At least 1 year college level or completion of a 1-year vocational course
- Knowledgeable in operating heavy equipment and construction machinery
- Experience in roadworks, excavation, site preparation, and asphalt paving activities
- Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures in construction sites
- Familiarity with infrastructure, road maintenance, or civil works projects is an advantage
- Physically fit and able to work in outdoor construction environments
Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment used in earthmoving and asphalt construction works
- Perform site preparation including excavation, grading, and leveling
- Assist in road construction and asphalt laying activities
- Conduct basic inspection and maintenance of assigned equipment
- Follow site instructions and construction plans accurately
- Ensure safe operation of machinery at all times
- Coordinate with engineers, foremen, and site supervisors
- Maintain productivity and efficiency during construction operations
- Observe safety protocols and wear required protective equipment
- Assist in general civil works as needed on project sites
