DUCT FABRICATOR

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Minimum of 5 years working experience as a Duct Fabricator or HVAC Sheet Metal Worker.
• Knowledgeable in HVAC duct fabrication, sheet metal work, and ventilation systems.
• Skilled in measuring, cutting, bending, and assembling duct materials.
• Familiar with fabrication tools, machines, and workshop equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret duct layouts, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual and workshop-based tasks.
• Responsible, disciplined, and safety-conscious.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fabrication or installation team.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate HVAC ducts, fittings, and sheet metal components according to project specifications and drawings.
• Measure, cut, bend, and assemble galvanized sheets and duct materials accurately.
• Operate fabrication machines and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Inspect fabricated ducts and components to ensure proper dimensions and quality standards.
• Prepare duct sections for installation and coordinate with HVAC installation teams.
• Perform repairs and modifications on damaged or incorrect ductwork when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of fabrication tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Follow workplace safety regulations and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and project teams regarding fabrication schedules and requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company operational procedures, safety standards, and project deadlines.

• E‑Registration Printout (DMW eReg) – A printed copy of your DMW online profile/E‑Registration; a key document used to verify your information with job orders.
