Domestic Worker

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
• At least High School Graduate.
• At least 24 years old.
• Previous experience in domestic work, nanny, childcare, babysitting, or caregiving is preferred.
• Experience working as a domestic worker locally or abroad is an advantage.
• Experience caring for babies and children is preferred.
• Experience providing care and assistance to elderly people is an advantage.
• Ability to understand and speak English.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to follow instructions accurately and work independently.
• Kind, caring, patient, responsible, and trustworthy personality.
• Physically fit and capable of performing household cleaning, childcare, and caregiving duties.
• Knowledge of basic household cleaning, cooking, laundry, and home organization.
• Patient and attentive when caring for children and elderly household members.
• Able to maintain a safe and hygienic household environment.
• Willing to adapt to the employer’s household routines and requirements.
• Respectful of the family’s privacy, property, and personal preferences.
• Reliable, hardworking, and responsible.

Responsibilities:

• Provide caring and attentive support for babies and children.
• Ensure children are supervised and kept in a safe and secure environment.
• Assist with children’s daily routines, including feeding, bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene when required.
• Prepare meals, snacks, and drinks suitable for children according to the family’s instructions.
• Engage children in educational, recreational, and age-appropriate activities.
• Play with children and encourage positive social, learning, and developmental activities.
• Communicate with parents regarding children’s daily activities, needs, behavior, and concerns.
• Follow parents’ instructions regarding childcare routines, schedules, meals, and activities.
• Provide basic care and assistance to elderly family members when required.
• Assist elderly persons with daily activities such as mobility, feeding, personal hygiene, and companionship, according to their needs and the employer’s instructions.
• Monitor the general well-being of children and elderly household members and promptly report concerns to the employer.
• Follow appropriate health, safety, hygiene, and childcare procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the home.
• Perform general household cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing household areas.
• Wash, dry, fold, iron, and organize household laundry and clothing.
• Clean and maintain kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and other household spaces.
• Prepare and cook meals according to the family’s preferences and instructions.
• Wash and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain household supplies and report items that need replenishment.
• Assist with grocery shopping, meal preparation, and other household errands when required.
• Keep children’s rooms, play areas, and personal belongings clean and organized.
• Handle household property and personal belongings with care and respect.
• Maintain the family’s privacy and confidentiality.
• Follow household schedules, routines, and instructions.
• Work independently while maintaining good communication with the employer.
• Report household maintenance concerns, hazards, accidents, or other issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, hygienic, and comfortable home environment.
• Perform other domestic and caregiving duties assigned by the employer.
