Dining Services Team Leader

Qualifications:

• High School Qualification with minimum 3 years relevant experience
• Previous work experience in Hotel/Restaurants as a Supervisor
• Good spoken and written English Language
• Managerial Skills – Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow.
• Computer Literature and POS knowledge preferred

Responsibilities:

• Train staffs and ensure the standard of service and cleanliness are maintained as per HACCP standard
• Supervise service and interact with guests to ensure their needs are attended to in the best possible manner
• Ensure beverages security and minimum stock level are maintained at all times
• Coordinate with all relevant departments to ensure smooth operations
• Check areas to ensure that facilities are thoroughly cleaned and tables and chairs are appropriately set out
• Discuss operational difficulties & recommendation for promoting food & beverage outlets with line manager
• Train staffs in Safety, SOP, CCP and Hygiene
• Ensure adequate staffing to the service lines and control the portioning to the customers
• Check areas ensuring facilities are adequately cleaned and maintained in a neat and tidy manner
• Ensure that suite of furniture and linens at dining area are maintained
• Ensure glassware, crockery, cutlery, service trays, cruet sets and food menu meet the Dining Services standard at all times
• Ensure that every individual staff meet the grooming standard at workplace with clean shaved/trimmed hair and beard
• Perform regular inventory audits of crockery, cutlery, linen, glassware and beverage stocks and provide the feedback to the management
• Co-ordinate with Cafeteria Manager for general cleanliness as well as maintenance and repairs of Dining Services equipment
• Provide direct ‘hands-on’ approach at all times to deliver quality, prompt food service as needed during busy schedules

Requirements:

• Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
• Employment certificates
• NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
• PEOS certificate
