Footmark Private Limited is seeking reliable and responsible Delivery Boys to handle the safe and timely delivery of goods and items to customers in the Maldives. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering orders to the correct addresses, handling items carefully, navigating local routes efficiently, and providing friendly customer service.

Delivery Boy

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience is required.
• High School Graduate at minimum.
• Must have a valid driver’s license or professional rider permit.
• Good knowledge of local streets, roads, routes, and shortcuts.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading delivery items.
• Able to carry boxes and goods up stairs when required.
• Good navigation and route-planning skills.
• Able to deliver items quickly, safely, and accurately.
• Friendly, respectful, and customer-oriented attitude.
• Honest and trustworthy, particularly when handling customer payments and company funds.
• Good cash-handling and basic record-keeping skills.
• Responsible and careful when handling customer goods and packages.
• Knowledge of basic road safety and traffic regulations.
• Able to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
• Reliable, punctual, hardworking, and disciplined.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple deliveries efficiently.
• Willing to work flexible schedules according to delivery requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver items, packages, goods, and orders quickly and safely to the correct addresses.
• Collect and verify delivery items before leaving the designated pickup location.
• Ensure that the correct items and quantities are delivered to each customer.
• Plan efficient delivery routes using knowledge of local streets, roads, and shortcuts.
• Navigate efficiently to minimize delivery time and ensure timely service.
• Load, transport, unload, and carry delivery items safely.
• Handle boxes, packages, and other goods carefully to prevent damage.
• Lift and carry items, including transporting goods up stairs when required.
• Confirm customer addresses and delivery instructions before completing deliveries.
• Communicate politely and professionally with customers during deliveries.
• Collect payments when required and handle cash accurately and honestly.
• Provide receipts or delivery confirmations as required.
• Maintain accurate records of completed deliveries, payments, and returned items.
• Report unsuccessful deliveries, incorrect addresses, damaged goods, or other delivery issues to the supervisor.
• Follow company procedures for handling customer orders and delivery documents.
• Maintain the cleanliness and proper condition of the assigned delivery vehicle or motorcycle.
• Perform basic checks of the vehicle or motorcycle before starting delivery duties.
• Follow traffic regulations, road safety rules, and company driving or riding procedures.
• Ensure goods are properly secured during transportation.
• Protect customer items from loss, damage, or contamination during delivery.
• Maintain a friendly and professional attitude when dealing with customers.
• Coordinate with warehouse, store, dispatch, and customer service personnel as needed.
• Complete assigned deliveries within scheduled timeframes.
• Perform other delivery, transport, and general duties assigned by the supervisor.
