CLEANER

Qualifications:

• Applicants with no work experience are welcome to apply.
• High School Graduate at minimum.
• Able to perform basic cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, reaching, and performing repetitive cleaning activities for extended periods.
• Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly.
• Willing to learn proper cleaning methods, chemical handling procedures, and workplace safety practices.
• Able to follow cleaning schedules, instructions, and established company procedures.
• Responsible and careful when handling cleaning equipment, supplies, and company property.
• Good attention to cleanliness, hygiene, and detail.
• Safety-conscious and able to identify and report potential hazards.
• Reliable, punctual, hardworking, and disciplined.
• Able to work independently and as part of a cleaning team.
• Good communication and cooperation skills.
• Willing to perform different cleaning tasks according to operational requirements.
• Able to maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic cleaning tasks in assigned buildings, facilities, and work areas.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, surfaces, walls, and other designated areas.
• Sweep and mop floors to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and other floor surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, washrooms, sinks, and related facilities.
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, doors, and other accessible areas as required.
• Empty waste bins and dispose of garbage according to established procedures.
• Refill and maintain adequate supplies of cleaning products and toiletries.
• Monitor stocks of tissue paper, soap, disinfectants, and other restroom supplies.
• Clean and maintain assigned cleaning equipment and tools.
• Use cleaning chemicals, detergents, disinfectants, and other cleaning products properly and safely.
• Follow instructions regarding the correct dilution, application, storage, and handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Inspect assigned areas and ensure they meet required cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged fixtures, equipment problems, or other concerns to the supervisor.
• Immediately report safety hazards such as wet floors, spills, damaged surfaces, or exposed electrical components.
• Place appropriate warning signs around wet or recently cleaned areas when required.
• Maintain proper housekeeping in storage areas and cleaning supply rooms.
• Store cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies safely after use.
• Assist with deep-cleaning activities and special cleaning assignments when required.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and complete assigned tasks within the required timeframe.
• Respect building occupants, customers, coworkers, and company property while performing cleaning duties.
• Follow workplace health, safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
• Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling cleaning chemicals or performing specific tasks.
• Perform other cleaning and general housekeeping duties assigned by the supervisor.
