Arany Hordó Restaurant is seeking a skilled and experienced Chef specializing in European cuisine to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, experienced in Italian and French dishes, and capable of maintaining high standards in food quality, presentation, and kitchen operations.
CHEF
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years overall cooking experience
- At least 3–4 years experience in European cuisine (Italian, French, etc.)
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Valid passport required
- Able to communicate in English
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good leadership and teamwork skills
- Physically fit and able to work long hours
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes, focusing on European cuisine (Italian, French, etc.)
- Plan menus and ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff during food preparation and service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
- Monitor food stock levels and assist in ordering ingredients
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
- Control portioning and minimize food waste
- Develop new recipes and contribute to menu improvements
