CARETAKER

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
• No minimum educational attainment required.
• Must be able to understand and speak English.
• Hands-on knowledge of basic tools and repair tasks.
• Experience in building, property, facility, or general maintenance is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, or other maintenance work is preferred.
• Physically fit and capable of performing routine maintenance and cleaning duties.
• Responsible, trustworthy, observant, and safety-conscious.
• Able to work independently and follow instructions.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the daily security, cleanliness, and general condition of assigned buildings.
• Maintain residential complexes, schools, community centers, or other facilities as assigned.
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, common areas, and facilities.
• Perform basic maintenance and minor repair work using hand tools and basic equipment.
• Identify maintenance problems, defects, leaks, or safety hazards and report them promptly.
• Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and other minor repair tasks when required.
• Keep common areas, facilities, and surrounding areas clean and orderly.
• Monitor building entrances, exits, and other areas to help maintain site security.
• Assist with waste management and proper disposal of garbage.
• Coordinate with supervisors or maintenance personnel for repairs beyond the scope of basic maintenance.
• Maintain proper use and care of tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and building maintenance standards.
• Perform other caretaker and facility maintenance duties assigned by management.
