WPS Recruitment is seeking qualified and experienced Cabinet Makers for an overseas work opportunity in Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing, assembling, and installing high-quality cabinets and furniture components according to technical drawings and production specifications.

Cabinet Maker

Qualifications:

• Ample and relevant experience in cabinet making.
• Proven experience in a kitchen or furniture manufacturing environment.
• Ability to confidently read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experienced in using woodworking machinery and hand tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong knowledge of cabinet construction, assembly, and woodworking techniques.
• Good measurement and practical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to communicate effectively in English.
• Physically fit and capable of performing woodworking and manufacturing duties.

Responsibilities:

• Manufacture and assemble cabinets, kitchen units, furniture, and fitted woodwork according to specifications.
• Read and accurately interpret technical drawings, plans, and measurements.
• Measure, mark, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other cabinet-making materials.
• Operate woodworking machinery and power tools safely and effectively.
• Use hand tools for cutting, fitting, drilling, sanding, and finishing.
• Ensure cabinet components are accurately aligned and properly fitted.
• Check finished products for dimensions, quality, appearance, and structural integrity.
• Make necessary adjustments and corrections to ensure a high-quality finish.
• Work with different wood products, boards, fittings, hardware, and finishing materials.
• Assemble doors, drawers, shelves, frames, and other cabinet components.
• Maintain tools, machinery, and work areas in clean and safe condition.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures and proper machine-operation practices.
• Coordinate with designers, supervisors, installers, and other production team members.
• Meet production schedules while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Identify material or production issues and report them to supervisors.
• Perform other cabinet-making and woodworking duties as assigned.
