BOAT SERVICE MANAGER

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (highly preferred)
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a Marine Service Manager or in a related role
• Proven experience as a boat mechanic/manager
• Must have the ability to operate and drive boats
• With valid boat driving license
• Strong experience in:
  • Repair and maintenance of marine engines
  • Electrical systems and hydraulics
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment
• Knowledge of marine safety protocols and standards
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Good communication and organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and servicing of all boats and marine equipment
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and ensure timely repairs
• Supervise and manage the marine service team
• Ensure all boats are safe, operational, and compliant with safety regulations
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance programs
• Operate boats when required for testing, transport, or operational needs
• Maintain inventory of tools, spare parts, and equipment
• Coordinate with management regarding maintenance schedules and requirements
• Ensure proper documentation of repairs, maintenance, and service records
• Enforce safety standards and best practices at all times
