WPS Recruitment is seeking qualified and skilled Bench Joiners for an overseas work opportunity in Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing and assembling high-quality timber components, doors, windows, furniture, and other joinery products in a workshop environment.

Qualifications:

• Strong and proven woodworking skills.
• Ability to work accurately from detailed technical drawings.
• Experience working with solid timber and sheet materials.
• High level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of woodworking, joinery, fitting, and assembly techniques.
• Experience using woodworking hand tools and machinery.
• Good measurement and practical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to produce accurate, high-quality finished work.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently when required.
• Physically fit and capable of performing workshop and woodworking duties.

Responsibilities:

• Manufacture and assemble timber components, doors, windows, frames, furniture, and other joinery products.
• Read and accurately interpret detailed technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Measure, mark, cut, shape, and assemble timber and sheet materials.
• Work with solid timber and sheet materials to produce accurate components.
• Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Perform cutting, drilling, routing, sanding, jointing, and fitting operations.
• Assemble components using appropriate woodworking joints, fixings, adhesives, and hardware.
• Check measurements, dimensions, alignment, and overall quality throughout the production process.
• Ensure finished products meet required specifications and high craftsmanship standards.
• Make adjustments and corrections when necessary to achieve accurate fitting and finishing.
• Maintain tools, machinery, and work areas in clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures and safe machinery-operation practices.
• Work closely with other joiners, carpenters, supervisors, designers, and production personnel.
• Meet production deadlines while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Identify material or manufacturing issues and report them to supervisors.
• Perform other woodworking and joinery duties assigned by management.
